The Great Bull Challenge: Stages and Timelines
Equity Express
Quiz Duration: The quiz must be completed within 10 minutes.
Total Questions: Participants will be allowed to answer 30 questions within the limited time of 10 minutes.
Quiz Window: You may attempt the quiz anytime within the designated quiz window.
Single Sitting: Ensure you complete the quiz in one sitting. Once started, the timer will run continuously.
No Negative Marking: There will be no penalties for incorrect answers.
Unfair Practices: Any participant found engaging in unfair practices will be immediately disqualified.
Eligibility to Take the Quiz: Only the team leader who registered the team can attempt the quiz.
Question Submission: You cannot revisit questions. Once you skip or submit an answer, it is final and cannot be changed.
Ranking Criteria: Teams will be ranked based on their quiz score and the time taken to complete the quiz.
Investment Inferno
The shortlisted teams have to provide a 5-slider solution (excluding Team Introduction and Thank you slides) along with all other supporting documents for the given case study problem. Communication for the round will be shared with the eligible teams separately.
Portfolio Powerplay
This will be an Offline round! Winners of the Round-2 will be invited to the SIBM Pune Hilltop Campus and will be tested upon their skills. Communication with the winners of Round-2 will be shared later.
All that you need to know about The Great Bull Challenge
The Great Bull Investment Challenge is an engaging case competition designed to test participants' expertise in finance and investment strategies. It consists of three rounds: a financial market quiz followed by a case study, and a presentation on constructing the fund’s inaugural portfolios. Participants are tasked with making data-driven allocation decisions, evaluating macroeconomic factors, and optimizing portfolio strategies to balance risk, return, and long-term objectives.
Open to students and professionals, it combines knowledge, analytical skills, and strategic planning, culminating in a live presentation evaluated by a finance expert.
- Team Size: 3 - 4 Members.
- The team leader must register on behalf of the entire team, with only one leader allowed per team.
- A student can be a member of only one team.
- All team members must belong to the same institution or organization.
- Teams may consist of members from different years of study as long as they are from the same institution or organization.
- Team members can be of the same or different specializations.
- Entries are open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Any participant found engaging in unfair practices will be immediately disqualified from the challenge.
- Violation of any of the above guidelines will lead to the disqualification of the entire team.
- The final decisions regarding eligibility, authenticity, and judgment are at the sole discretion of Unstop & SIBM Pune.
