Mosaic of Melodies - Solo Singing Competition

 Mosaic of Melodies is a celebration of pure vocal artistry — a space where sound transforms into emotion and technique becomes expression. It invites singers to explore the full spectrum of their voice: the warmth of pop, the finesse of classical, the soul of blues, and everything beyond. Here, the stage becomes more than just a competitive arena; it evolves into a journey of discovery where moods shift, styles unfold, and every note narrates a story. Blending the charm of retro nostalgia with contemporary creativity, Mosaic of Melodies stands as a refined homage to vocal excellence and imaginative performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The competition is open to all students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs, regardless of year.

Round 1: Online Submission (Video Prelims Round):

• Individual submissions only
• A minimum submission of 90 seconds, up to a maximum of 150 seconds, must be provided, with the participant clearly visible while singing.
• Upload the entry to Google Drive and share the link with open access
• Use of karaoke tracks and instruments is prohibited
• Videos must be uploaded in MP4 format only.
• Songs maybe in Hindi or English (a mix of both languages is also allowed)
• Ensure clear audio and video with minimal background noise
• Singers have the freedom to choose any genre of music
• This is an elimination round.

Round 2: On-Campus Round: - Showstopper Round:

• Each participant is allotted 3 to 5 minutes for their performance
• Karaoke tracks is mandatory for all performances
• Karaoke tracks must be submitted 5 days prior to the event
• Performances can feature Hindi and English songs (a mix of both languages is also allowed).
• Use of live instruments is not allowed
• Participants may perform multiple songs within the given time frame

Rules and Regulations:

• Naming Convention: MosaicofMelodies_College Name_Your Name (e.g., MosaicofMelodies_SIBM_Neha)
• All participants must present a valid college ID at the time of the event
• Students enrolled in both undergraduate and graduate courses are eligible to submit entries
• Performances can be in Hindi or English, or a mix of both languages
• Participants are required to report at least 3 hours before the event for preparation
• Performance time must be 3 to 5 minutes. Exceeding the time limit will result in disqualification
• Use of any derogatory or offensive lyrics is strictly prohibited
• Profanity, vulgarity, or obscenity in any form is strictly prohibited
• Any participant found engaging in unfair practices will be immediately disqualified from the competition
• All decisions regarding eligibility, authenticity, and final judgment will be made by Unstop & SIBM Pune
• The judges' decisions and the decisions of the organizers will be final and binding
• The Terms and Conditions of participation are subject to change without prior notice
• Any amendments to the Terms and Conditions will take effect immediately upon being posted on the event website
