Altair Data Science Contest

About:

• Challenge: Participants are encouraged to utilize AI Studio from Altair RapidMiner Platform to solve a specific problem, analyze a dataset, or develop a predictive model. Altair RapidMiner platform contains a bunch of tools for Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
• Model File: Participants are encouraged to use datasets from Kaggle or a source of choice.
• Objective: Develop solutions for data science problems using Altair RapidMiner Platform.

Themes:

• Health: Analyze healthcare data to improve patient outcomes, optimize hospital operations, or develop predictive health models.
• Education: Utilize data to enhance learning experiences, improve educational outcomes, or develop personalized education plans.
• Energy: Investigate energy consumption patterns, optimize resource usage, or develop sustainable energy solutions.
• Agriculture: Use data to improve crop yields, manage agricultural resources, or develop innovative farming techniques.
• Green Economy: Analyze environmental data to promote sustainability, reduce carbon footprints, or develop green technologies.
• Open Innovation: Think of creative and cross-disciplinary approaches to solve any data-related challenge. Think out of the box!

• All themes are marked equally without any bias. They are provided to give some ideas.
• This contest is open to all students, except those who have previously won in the Altair Data Science Contest

Submission Requirements:

• RapidMiner Session .rmp file
• Data set used
• Analytics PPT
• Rapidminer Certificate (max 5 recommended)
• Video:
  • Recording of the complete general process (10 to 15 minutes), post on YouTube, and share the link.
  • If you're using AI Studio, while recording the video, be sure to mention that you are using the AI Studio from Altair RapidMiner Platform.

Submission Instructions:

• Zip the contents.
• Rename the file as “ECELL_Yourname.zip”.

• The contest organizing team can request access to the commercial-grade license of Altair RapidMiner and get it installed in the lab.
