Sell the Unsellable brings together students, finance enthusiasts, and aspiring entrepreneurs in a high-energy, team-based competition. Participants showcase creativity and ingenuity by devising “scam IPO” pitches and defending their ideas before a panel of tough judges.
Rules & Format:
- A 30-minute online quiz will be conducted to assess participants’ knowledge in:
- Notable IPO scams
- Red flags in financial statements
- SEBI guidelines and IPO regulations
- Logical reasoning and pattern recognition
Team Participation:
- Participants will be grouped into teams (team size details can be added if available) to craft and pitch their ideas.
Objective:
- Devise and present convincing IPO pitches despite inherent flaws, demonstrating strategic thinking, creativity, and knowledge of financial regulations.

About Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal
Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal was established in the year 1957.
In the year 2000, the institute became part of the deemed university – Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) which is presently known as Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
MIT offers engineering stream in both UG and PG programs.
The institute undertakes sponsored research programs supported by funding agencies like CSIR, DST, AICTE, and the Ministry of Environment Sciences.
