Online Quiz
Registered teams will participate in an online MCQ-based quiz. Only the Team Leader is authorized to attempt the quiz. Format: Multiple-choice questions (MCQ) All decisions in the matter of eligibility, authenticity & final judgement will be with Unstop and the organizer and the decisions are binding and final.
Case Study
Teams qualifying the quiz will receive the case and submission guidelines. Submissions must strictly follow the prescribed PPT format. Submission Format: Maximum 3 slides (Team Introduction, Solution Content, Thank You/Appendix) Naming Convention: TeamName_CollegeName
Grand Final
Shortlisted teams will present their case solutions to an expert jury. Assessments will be based on analytical strength, quality of insights, clarity and structure of the narrative, feasibility of recommendations, and innovative thinking. The session will be conducted via MS Teams or Zoom.Presentation Deck: Maximum 7 slides including Introduction, appendix and Thank you slides.Duration: Up to 10 minutes presentation + 3–5 minutes Q&A-campus round.

Opscura, the Operations Case Study Competition by Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management (SIOM), Nashik, brings focus to the hidden layers of processes and systems that often remain unseen. Rooted in the idea of uncovering the “obscure,” this theme challenges participants to explore operational blind spots, reveal inefficiencies, and transform uncertainty into intelligent, data-driven solutions. Opscura inspires deep analysis, sharp insight, and innovative problem-solving, empowering participants to decode complexity and elevate operational excellence. It is a platform designed to illuminate the unseen and shape the future of operations with clarity and purpose.
Guidelines:
- Students pursuing an MBA, from both first-year and second-year batches, are eligible to participate.
- Participants must form a team of 1–4 members, all from the same college/institute.
- A student can be part of only one team; each team must consist exclusively of either first-year or second-year students.
- Any number of teams can participate from a single institute.
- All shortlisted/qualifying teams must strictly adhere to the instructions provided by the organizing committee regarding submission formats and the designated virtual platforms.
- Teams must comply with all deadlines; no extensions will be granted under any circumstances.
- The decisions made by the organizers will be final and binding on all participants.
Rules:
- Each team shall consist of 1–4 members.
- All team members must belong to the same college/institute.
- A team must consist entirely of either first-year or second-year students; mixed-year teams are not permitted.
- No replacement of team members will be allowed after registration.
- A student may participate in only one team for this competition.
